World Mental Health Day on 10th October. Call Open Mental Health ANY day for support

The World Health Organisation recognises World Mental Health Day on 10 October every year. This year’s theme set by the World Federation for Mental Health is ‘mental health for all’.

We all have mental health, just as we have physical health. And from time to time things can go wrong with either and we may need a little support.

This is a particularly strange and difficult time for people. You may be asking “When will it end?”, “How can I protect the people I love?”. You may find yourself feeling more anxious than usual, or maybe more lonely and feeling down.

The Open Mental Health service is free and provided by an alliance of local charities working across Somerset with the NHS too. We are one of these charities. If you have any issues please don’t think they are too small or not important enough to talk about. Your mental health IS important.

Pick up the phone whenever you need to. We’re here to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on 01823 276892 or email: support@openmentalhealth.org.uk
