Aim to maintain your current level of fitness

Trying to stay busy and physically active whilst you are at home is challenging but with so many fantastic online resources available, it is easy enough to maintain your current level of fitness.

Many people are seeing their enforced isolation as an opportunity to try something new; taking up a new hobby or starting a new exercise regime. We wouldn’t advise anyone to push themselves too hard! Whether you want a challenge or simply want to maintain your existing strength and balance, we hope we can share some exercises here with you.

And remember that many activities you can do, like Tai Chi and yoga, are great for both your mental health and physical being. They can help keep you calm and relaxed and more able to cope with the day to day challenge of staying at home.
