Job Vacancy – Can you help us find our new Ageing Well Manager?

As an independent local charity working in Somerset and North Somerset, our ‘Ageing Well’ service is dedicated to promoting the health and wellbeing of older people in our area.

Exercise is vital for older people, not only to improve or maintain all components of fitness but also to reduce the effect of age-related decline, help maintain independent living and reduce isolation. Group exercise offers this valuable social aspect and we are proud to provide over 150 weekly classes covering a range of activities.

We can now offer an exciting opportunity to join our existing team and help us to build on the success of this renowned, well-loved service.

We are now seeking an Ageing Well Manager to work with our team of instructors and staff, clients, funders, partners and stakeholders to maintain and expand our classes whilst looking for new opportunities to bring on-stream new activities.

You will need to be a motivational communicator and having experience of managing a customer facing service, you will already understand about balancing need with affordability and be able to demonstrate your skill in budgetary control. You may even have worked within the movement and exercise field.

A confident self-starter, with a person-centric and pragmatic approach and excellent organisation skills will be required to lead our highly motivated and committed team to success and realise the full potential of this rewarding role.

Application is via an Application form (CVs will NOT be accepted) which can be found via the link below, along with all the other information.

THE CLOSING DATE for applications is 9am on Thursday 22nd April 2021.
