Due to having to practise physical distancing or self-isolation, a lot of our usual services are on hold or being offered in a different way for the time being for example our Ageing Well exercise sessions are now available online!

Cognitive Stimulation Therapy – new online sessions
We’ve provided free food for those in need.
Age UK Somerset is committed to supporting older people in a variety of ways.
During these tough times some older people found getting food a difficulty. We helped by providing and delivering over 800 meals to local older people, supported by donations from members of the public and many organisations.

Information and Advice
We offer a free and confidential information and advice service for older people, their families and carers. Our team are working from home answering telephone and email requests for help.

It’s all hands on deck at Age UK Somerset and staff from all teams are on the phones, ringing round to make sure local older people are being supported and offered help.
We are also working closely with other local groups to do what we can to ensure that older people across Somerset and North Somerset are receiving all the support that they need.
